The work we do today

Our mission.

जो जानकारी से छूट गया, उस तक पहुँचना।

In practice that means five promises we keep every week:

Sit with students on career choices, and mentor them through the year instead of leaving after one talk.

Keep students in school by covering what stops them — fees, books, forms, coaching.

Teach reading and writing to adults who never got the chance.

Take awareness to the street, and keep public places clean by returning to the same spot until it stays clean.

Explain to citizens the rights they already hold, in language that needs no translation.

The future we are working toward

एक जागृत समाज — जहाँ कोई अनजान न रहे।

An awakened neighbourhood — jagriti in the plain sense of the word. We will know we got there when:

No student picks a stream or a career by default, guesswork, or somebody else’s pressure.
No family loses a child’s education to a cost that a little help would have covered.
No adult has to sign with a thumbprint because nobody taught them otherwise.
Public spaces are looked after by the people who use them, not only by the people paid to.
Every citizen knows what they are entitled to, and which door to knock on to get it.

One person at a time

A student who understands their options. An adult who can sign their name. A citizen who knows where to turn. That is what progress looks like to us.
